15 Heart Stopping Body Transformations (And The Dirty Truth About “Online Personal Training”)

by Jordan Syatt December 20, 2015
online personal training

Online personal training has exploded over the past 5-years and I think it’s one of the greatest things that’s ever happened to the fitness industry.

Some coaches say it isn’t nearly as effective as in-person training.

But I disagree.

I’d even go so far as to say online personal training is MORE effective than in-person.

I could give you a massive list of reasons explaining why I think online personal training is so much more advantageous…but I’d rather show you.

Talk is cheap — especially on the internet — and anyone can say anything they want regardless of whether or not it’s true.

Results Speak for Themselves

So in the remainder of this article I’m going to show you real results from real people just like you and me. Each of these men and women worked closely with me in  my online coaching program

in 2015 and, as you’ll see, their results are nothing short of extraordinary.

Keep in mind, every person featured below worked harder than most people could ever comprehend.

They worked out consistently 3-4 times every week.

They honed in on their nutrition.

They studied relentlessly.

And they did everything I said — without a moments hesitation — with 100% effort.

With that said, I’m excited to share their success with you, reveal the truth about online personal training, and hopefully inspire you to achieve your goals in 2016.

Enjoy and happy new year,

-J

PS I have a little, we’ll call it a “surprise,” for you at the very end. Don’t miss it.

Jerry

182lbs to 147lbs (-35lbs)

Online personal training

Jerry is, for a lack of a better phrase, the man.

Seriously. He’s a fire fighter. Father. Husband. Friend.

And such a hard worker it blows my mind.

One of the kindest and most genuine guys I know, Jerry is the epitome of the word “role model” and I can’t even begin to express how proud I am of him.

He’s also an obsessive practical joker and periodically likes to send me pictures of his “fun days.”

online personal training

Congratulations, Jerry. You deserve every ounce of success and I can’t wait to see your continued progress.

Amy

136lbs to 117lbs (-19lbs)

Online personal training

(Learn More About Amy, HERE) Amy is amazing.

A business owner, mother of 3, and unquestionably in the top 3 funniest people I’ve ever met…Amy works so damn hard it’s mind boggling.

She works out *at least* 4x/week.

She’s consistently on point with her nutrition.

And she does it all with the most genuine and infectious smile spread across her face.

Congratulations, Amy. You inspire me every day.

-J

Linda

128lbs to 117lbs (-11lbs)

Online personal training

Linda and I began working together 3 months ago and started with nothing but nutrition. Exercise would come later but nutrition was our first focus.

A bit later Linda decided she wanted to add some exercise into the equation and has been using short, quick, metabolic circuits to supplement her diet ever since.

A wife, mother of 3, and full-time worker…Linda gave it everything she had day-in and day-out and I couldn’t possibly be more impressed.

The best part? The other day she shot me an email saying she now has the tools and confidence to continue on her own for the rest of her life.

That’s my definition of success.

Congratulations, Linda! You’re one of a kind and I’m so excited to see your continued progress moving forward.

Kelly

(Didn’t Use the Scale)

(Learn More About Kelly, HERE

Kelly and I worked together for the majority of 2015 and it’s safe to say she’s one of the most dedicated individuals I’ve ever met.

When she first joined my online coaching program

we decided she wasn’t going to step on the scale because it might cause unnecessary anxiety so we solely focused on her measurements, pictures, and how her clothes fit.

The results?

Well, you can see for yourself.

Kelly worked her ass off, pushed herself way beyond her comfort zone, and she built an extraordinary physique to the point where she even started doing some fitness modelling. Here, have a look for yourself.

online personal training

Oh, also worth mentioning, Kelly is in her 40’s, a mother of two, and works a full-time job. So if you think it’s “too late” to get the body you’ve always wanted…think again.

Congratulations, Kelly!

You’re strong beyond measure and I’m stoked to watch all of your future success.

Tony

180lbs to 166lbs (-14lbs)

Online personal training

Tony’s got a heart of gold.

He’s kind, genuine, caring, smart, and incredibly motivated.

He first joined my free 30-Day Powerlifting for Fat Loss Challenge, dropped nearly 15lbs, and has since been a member of my online personal training program.

I could talk for days about how great Tony is, how lucky I am to work with him, and fortunate to call him a friend, but he recently sent me an e-mail entitled, “Feeling great” and I think you’re going to like it.

online personal training

Congratulations, Tony!

You, my friend, are an inspiration to me and everyone lucky enough to meet you

Lisa

155lbs to 130lbs (-24lbs)

Online personal training

Lisa’s my all-star.

We’ve been working together in my online coaching program for over 2-years now and to say she works hard would be a terrible understatement.

Before Lisa and I started online personal training she had already lost a significant amount of weight on her own. But she came to me feeling “stuck” and unsure of whether or not she would ever be able to get any leaner.

I assured her she could — as long as she was willing to put in the time and effort.

She assured me she was.

So off we went and, holy hell, Lisa completely changed her life.

Not only has she built an extraordinary physique but, in the process, she’s gotten incredibly fit and strong. I have numerous videos of her doing weighted chin-ups, perfect push-ups, and more.

But I think this video of her 300lb deadlift says it all.

Kyle

230lbs – 173lbs (-57lbs)

Online personal training

Kyle’s strong as an ox.

We originally started working together to improve his powerlifting performance, but somewhere down the line Kyle decided enough was enough and he wanted to get in shape.

Not just for looks or vanity – but for his own health and well being.

We kept his strength training more or less the same and just switched up his nutrition with a couple small tweaks. Nothing drastic, complicated, or unsustainable.

Long story short, Kyle lost over 55lbs and got in the best shape of his life. More importantly, he’s happier, healthier, and has more confidence in himself than he ever thought possible.

I asked Kyle to give me a few words about what learned throughout this process, and here’s what he had to say:

“If this journey has taught me anything, it is that life is never easy. To be truly happy and live the life you were meant to live you need to work hard, you need to be dedicated, and you need to hold yourself accountable for everything you do. The first step is always the hardest one, so take that first step today and tomorrow the second step will be that much easier.”

Trevor

198lbs to 175lbs (-23lbs)

Online personal training

Trevor’s one of those guys you just can’t help but love.

Kind, smart, generous, and incredibly hard working…Trevor’s an extraordinary friend and role model.

He originally joinedmy online coaching program  this past July and has since lost over 20lbs and maintained all of his muscle and strength.

online personal training

What really excites me about Trevor — even more than his progress thus far — is his long-term perspective and ability to appreciate progress takes a huge amount of time and consistent effort.

I have a feeling Trevor and I are going to work together for years to come, and I can’t wait to see how much progress he continues to make.

Oh, worth mentioning, Trevor is also a professional skydiver. You can see him and his team in action, here.

Rich

275lbs to 186lbs (-89lbs)

online personal training

Rich lost 89lbs in my online coaching program.

That’s impressive. But you want to know what’s even more impressive?

He’s kept the weight off (and lost even more) in the past 18-months.

See, this picture of Rich is actually from 2014. And while most people lose weight only to regain it all (or more) back, Rich has been able to continue making progress because of his simple, sensible, sustainable approach.

Worth mentioning, Rich is an extraordinary personal trainer based out of Boston and his annual staff pictures show a difference nothing short of remarkable.

online personal training

Congrats, Rich!

You’re a great friend, exceptional coach, and a true inspiration.

Erin

165lbs to 153lbs (-12lbs)

Online personal training

Erin’s strong as all hell.

Seriously.

She originally joined  my online coaching program with the combined goal of losing fat while gaining strength…and I think it’s safe to say she crushed it.

Even while dealing with an insane travel schedule, several bouts of terrible colds, and chronic lower back pain, Erin went above and beyond every day to achieve her goals.

Congratulations, Erin, and keep up the amazing work!

Nick

181lbs to 168lbs (-13lbs)

Online personal training

Nick and I didn’t work together in my online personal training program, but he is a member of my free VIP newsletter and recently invested in my 14-Day Rapid Fat Loss Protocol (only available to VIP’s).

Long story short, Nick lost 13lbs in 14-days, has maintained his progress and is continuing to crush it.

He wrote me a short note at the end of the challenge and here’s what he had to say:

online personal training

Congratulations, Nick!

Stacey

143lbs to 129lbs (-14lbs)

Online personal training

(Learn More About Stacey,HERE

Funny story about Stacey.

I’ve known her since I was 16-years old (she was 24) and she was one of my first “fitness mentors.”

A world renowned strength and nutrition coach specializing in kettlebells, Stacey took me under her wing while I was a competitive high school wrestler/aspiring coach and she introduced me to a whole new world of strength.

Years later she became one ofmy online personal training clientsand — aside from being one of the most surreal experiences of my career — I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life as a friend, mentor, and part of my family.

I might be getting a little too mushy gushy for this article but I would be remiss if I weren’t to congratulate Stacey and her new husband, Anthony, on the announcement of their soon-to-born first child.

Congratulations, you two! And, don’t forget, Jordan is a great name for both boys and girls.

Just sayin.

Roanne

145lbs to 116lbs (-29lbs)

Online personal training

Roanne joined my online group nutrition coaching program and has since lost a total of 29lbs.

It’s been years in the making (real, sustainable progress takes time, not just a couple weeks) but she’s continued to stick with it and has completely transformed her body and life.

Congratulations, Roanne! Keep up the amazing work — I can’t wait to see your progress over the coming years.

Scott

178lbs to 154lbs (-24lbs)

Online personal training

Scott also joined my group nutrition coaching program and in 4-months lost a total of 24lbs.

What’s more, Scott originally joined my group nutrition coaching program to help him cut weight for an upcoming powerlifting competition. And while most coaches say it’s impossible to lose fat and gain any meaningful amount of strength at the same time, Scott did exactly that.

Not only did he cut an insane amount of fat off his frame, Scott simultaneously gained an inordinate amount of strength (thanks to his great coach, Adam Pine and had an outstanding performance at his competition.

Congratulations, Scott! You’re one of a kind and the epitome of hard work and dedication.

Jordan (Me!)

140lbs to 140lbs (No Change)

powerlifting for fat loss

I’m a big believer in practicing what you preach.

Lot’s of coaches “talk the talk” but very few “walk the walk.”

And while a coach can have all the knowledge in the world, if they don’t have practical experience with what their clients are going through…they’re going to be at a massive disadvantage.

For that reason — in addition to enjoying staying lean year round — I try to keep myself “in check” as often as possible.

Am I perfect? Of course not.

Do I mess up? You bet your ass I do.

But that’s what helps me be a better coach. Constantly aiming to improve myself, my methodologies, and strategies involves experimenting on myself. And for that reason I can help my clients succeed not only when they feel great, but also when they feel all hope is lost.
